As technology continues to advance, information’s disseminates easily with no hassles and it has been a common part of our everyday needs in this world. Rapid advances in technology have helped to meet these demands of the society. The success of the institute in carrying out its primary charge of educating and socializing students is contingent on student’s awareness in the institute. Nowadays, most educators find it easy to have a website in their institute not just because they can access it through online but of course it promotes the institute and a strong home-institute connection. Add to this, students face lots of problems in institute’s document section as they have burden because of the examinations too and have to search for sample papers, question banks and practice papers with tons of queries. So we are preparing a website which may prove helpful for the students as well as for faculties by which they can grow and develop socially and academically in a supportive environment. With the help of the website, news, announcements, activities or events, information’s and others can be post not only at the bulletin board but also can be access at home or anywhere.
Our project is based on all about students, visitors and fresher’s problems. We experienced as a fresher that we go through lots of problems like arriving at the college, printery, finding stationary, photo shops, cyber cafes , Old question papers, sample papers etc., with a bit excitement to see the institute which may include infrastructure, Heads ,events happened, faculty, facility, locality, sources, ragging free, etc. So, we are just trying to solve all these problems through our website, which may prove accordingly. This website would be a great help to the students for its accuracy and reliability. Also, to be aware to the institute’s information, activities, events and others even at home. Everything they need, will no longer a problem for them to know because through this website, thwy will be informed and easier for them to know the things happening inside the institute. It would be a great help to the institute especially through disseminating information’s, announcements and others. The study further offered future school principal and school boards with historical data upon which to base their decisions as they deliberate on future policies for possible adoption. Also, it promotes the schools productivity in terms of academic and non-academic studies. It is useful for the parents so that they can track on their children’s activities without the hassle of traveling just to visit the institute.
In order to meet the project deadline, we formulated the scope of this project to identify the boundaries of this study. The website, which is going to be the output of the study, is simply going to transition our institute method of promoting, informing and handling data to a computerized one such as, allowing the students, parents and visitors to view some information of the institution, recording all the necessary information with regard from the students, has the capability to keep in track the records of the student, allowing parents and students to access anytime they want, and providing features that make the school part of a member’s daily functions.
Software requirements defines how the intended software will interact with hardware, external interfaces, speed of operation, response time of system, portability of software across various platforms, maintainability, speed of recovery after crashing, security, quality, and limitation. The requirements received from client are written in natural language. It is the responsibility of system analyst to document the requirements in technical language so that they can be comprehended and useful by the software development team.
