College Summary
Kasturba Institute of Technology for Women, Delhi Formerly Known as Kasturba Polytechnic for Women was established in the year of 1986 by the Government of NCT of Delhi to encourage women to effectively contribute towards economic development of the country by choosing the promising career in Engineering. The Institute provides a wide array of courses specially designed for the girls. At present, the college offers 3 years Diploma Engineering in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Fashion Designing and Civil (Public Health & Environmental) Engineering.
Recently the college has started giving Bachelor of vocational course in two branches mainly.
$ Construction Technology (Run by Civil Engineering Department)
$ Refrigeration & Air conditioning (by Mechanical Engineering Department)

Aligibility
The candidates should have passed 10th class of 10+2 System or Matric or any other examination recognized as equivalent to a 10th class examination conducted by CBSE. The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the candidate should have passed in each of these three subjects without considering grace marks.

Kasturba Institute of Technology for Women Delhi offers admission with an intake capacity of 250 numbers of students. The college provides a good ratio of well trained and highly educated faculty members equipped with all the modern technology. It also provides sufficient numbers of technical and non-technical staffs to provide an ambience of self-learning to the students.
Admission Process
- The admissions to the different diploma courses are based on the Common Entrance Test (CET Delhi)taken by the Department Of Training & Technical Education (DTTE), Delhi in May /June every year.
- The minimum eligibility criteria for the student to be selected with a minimum 35 per cent aggregate in English, Maths, Science & pass in rest of the subjects in Class 10th
- The subjects Science, Mathematics & English are compulsory and the candidate should have passing marks in each of these three subjects without considering grace marks.

Scholarship
The scholarships recognise merit and talent of students. Students may apply for the Scholarships at the beginning of the academic year. College may offer a scholarship to a deserving candidate under the following categories.

- Students belonging to the economically weaker sections may ask for fee concession (*depends on the college administrations).
- Merit cum means based scholarships are also awarded by the college to deserving students.
- Merit & National Scholarships for brilliant students under Central & State Govt.
Delhi Cet 2020 Cutoff
The Delhi CET cutoff will be released after the Result declaration. The controller of examination prepares the merit list for the five tests according to the mark obtained by candidates. For a general category candidate, minimum 10% marks need to be obtained to get selected for admission, and for the reserved category including SC, ST, PWD, OBC will be minimum 5%. No aspirants obtaining 5% on relaxation basis will be eligible for selection in the general category.
